Oui got this!

The images below highlight the wonderful success we've had in introducing Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) across our school. From interactive lessons to creative classroom activities, these pictures reflect the enthusiasm, progress, and joy our pupils experience as they explore the French Langauge. The positive impact of MFL is clear to see—not only in the children's oracy, but also in their increased curiosity.

Picking-up Français - LKS2

In Lower Key Stage 2 French this half term, our pupils have made significant strides in language acquisition. Through engaging and interactive activities, they have focused on oral communication to grasp new language patterns and cultivate a fundamental understanding of (La date) the date. The emphasis on verbal interaction has not only enhanced their pronunciation but also fostered a communicative approach to learning.

Laisse-le Cuisiner - UKS2

In Upper Key Stage 2, pupils have demonstrated good progress by consolidating their oracy skills. They have revisited their French instrument words and this has helped their pronunciation and fluency. Year 5 have been learning about different instruments in French, as part of this they have been consolidating their knowledge of common nouns and have engaged in a series of activities that nurture their speaking, reading and writing skills.
